This is the website of Nick Wilkinson, flamenco guitarist from Manchester. On this website you will find various resources and links to websites, both in and outside the UK. The materials presented here offer the reader a glimpse into the world of flamenco and the rich variety of artistic expression that it contains. Although some of the pages on this website are intended for flamenco guitar students, there is likely to be something of interest for everyone.

Nick Wilkinson studied at the conservatory in Rotterdam where he received private tuition from one of the world’s leading flamenco guitarists, Paco Peña. From 1996 to 1999 Nick worked at Centro Flamenco Puro in Utrecht, where he gained experience in dance accompaniment. Nick has appeared live on Dutch national radio, Granada television, BBC Radio Manchester and at Glastonbury festival.

Between 1999 and 2006 Nick taught flamenco guitar at the Spanish Centre in Manchester. Nick has also been involved in various projects in the North of England, including performances and workshops with dancers.
